13 And Simon himself also believed, and after he[a] was baptized he was keeping close company with[b] Philip. And when he[c] saw the signs and great miracles that were taking place, he was astonished.

14 Now when[d] the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, 15 who went down and[e] prayed for them so that they would receive the Holy Spirit.
